Here is a cozy cabin located in the San Bernardino National Forest and is on Forest Service leased land. An SUV or 4WD is not needed to get to the cabin for most of the year. It has one bedroom downstairs and a big loft, divided into two sleeping areas. Full bath downstairs. There is a big “mud room” that you enter through. It opens into the nice kitchen and then into the family room. From there, you can go upstairs, to the loft, or into the bonus room and then out to the spacious back deck. The family room features a Jotul wood burning, airtight, stove. These stoves are made in Norway so you know they do their job efficiently and they are highly rated. Water comes from a spring and into two water tanks and then into the cabins. Because of the last big rains, the water lines are in the process of being rebuilt. Cabins in South Fork do not have electricity, HOWEVER, this is not much of an inconvenience for this cabin. The stove is propane. A propane refrigerator is commonly used in these cabins and even the lights are propane. (Kind of like a Coleman lantern but without the hissing sound). The cabin has wood floors and knotty pine, tongue and groove paneling. There is also an enclosed patio/sun room. These cabins are not eligible for financing so they will need to be a cash transa
